Campground Policies

The Season

  1. The 2025 summer season will run from Friday, May 16, 2025 (May Long Weekend) until Monday, October 13, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day). Water and Hydro will not be operational until the summer season opens and will be turned off the day after the summer season ends.

  2. The season may begin or end earlier depending on weather.

  3. If the season begins sooner or ends earlier, we will alert Seasonal Campers.

  4. Future summer seasons will run from the Friday of May long weekend until the Monday of Thanksgiving weekend.


Fees: 2025 – 2026

Lot Rent
5. An invoice for the 2025 summer season is attached to this letter. Upon receipt of this invoice, we require half (50%) of the lot rent within 14 days. The remainder of the lot rent + GST must be paid on or before May 16, 2025.
6. Half (50%) of the lot rent for the 2026 summer season must be paid by January 14, 2026. Lot rent + GST for the 2026 summer season must be paid in full by May 1, 2026.
7. Payment of invoices can be made by cheque, e-transfer, or cash. Cheques are preferred and should be made payable to “Clear Lake Campground.”

Taxes
8. Due to the construction of decks and/or storage buildings, applicable taxes will be passed on to you as a Seasonal Camper.


2026 Return Deadline

  1. If you wish to store your Recreational Vehicle (“RV”) or boat on your lot during the winter season (October 14, 2025 – April 30, 2026), you must pay $200.00 by September 30, 2025. If you wish to store your RV and boat during the winter season, you must pay $300.00 by September 30, 2025. Winterizing and rodent proofing is solely the responsibility of the Seasonal Camper.

  2. If you will not be returning for the 2026 summer season, any decks constructed must stay on the lot. If you wish to remove the deck, we require a $500.00 resodding fee.

  3. If you have decided that you will not be returning for the 2026 summer season, you must alert us by January 14, 2026.


Refunds

  1. Fees will not be refunded if you are evicted or leave after July 31, 2025. Refunds will be given to Seasonal Campers who decide to leave for medical or emergency reasons. Refunds due to medical or emergency reasons will require written proof.

  2. Any refunds given will be prorated.


Transfers and Rentals

  1. Seasonal camping sites are not transferable to other persons.

  2. If you wish to rent your lot to another person, please contact Management prior for approval.


Rules and Regulations

Violations of any rules and regulations can result in your permanent and immediate eviction. No refunds or compensation with any eviction.

Quiet Time
16. Quiet time is 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
17. Excessive noise or rowdiness is not permitted at any time. You are responsible for the behaviour of anyone visiting your site. All visitors are bound by campground rules.
18. Constant barking dogs or noise apparatuses, such as windchimes, will be considered a noise violation.

Construction
19. Any construction may occur from May 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025 and September 2, 2025 – October 9, 2025.
20. All construction must be approved by Management. Once Management approves the plan, Seasonal Campers must attain a building permit from the Municipality of Harrison Park’s Building and Development Services.
21. Seasonal campers may build a deck and one other building, such as a storage shed, no larger than 8 feet x 8 feet x 8 feet.
22. No skid steers or equipment of any kind to be used or offloaded without prior consent from Management.
23. All operators and trades must have workers comp, be fully insured, and have papers to prove such training and insurance.

Maintenance
24. Seasonal Campers are responsible for maintaining their lot including mowing any grass.
25. Please contact Management for approval of branches or underbrush that must be cut or cleared.
26. If you wish to plant trees, bushes, or other plants, please contact Management for approval.
27. Do not use any poison on the grounds i.e., round-up. If you wish to use any harmful substances, please speak to Management.
28. Each lot will be numbered by Management. Do not obstruct placed lot numbers.

Garbage
29. Garbage bins are next to the wood pile area. Please place garbage into the garbage bins, and ensure the bin is closed.
30. Do not put any large items or furniture in the garbage bins. Please take away any large items to the Onanole Waste Disposal Site.

Utilities
31. Water and Hydro will be shut down after the Thanksgiving long weekend, weather permitting.
32. It is the responsibility of each Seasonal Camper to drain their own water lines each year. The Campground is not responsible for any damage incurred.
33. Please keep your hoses attached from your trailer septic tank to the campground’s septic system.
34. Do not leave the valve open from your septic tank to the campground’s septic system. Please allow your septic tank to fill and only dump into the campground’s septic system when needed.
35. Only use approved RV toilet paper.

Energy Consumption
36. We strive to keep the fees as reasonable as possible and you can help by controlling the amount of electricity you consume.
37. Air conditioners must only run when necessary. Please turn off your air conditioner when you are not present.
38. Please turn off lights when you are not present.

Speed Limits and Road Access
39. Please watch for signs entering the campground and in the RV area relating to speed limits and one-ways.
40. In the RV area, the posted speed limit is 15km/h.

Parking
41. Maximum of two (2) vehicles are allowed on your lot.
42. Additional vehicles may be parked in the overflow parking area.

Fires
43. Please do not leave fires unattended and extinguish all fires if you plan to leave.
44. Do not keep a smoky fire throughout the day.
45. Do not burn any garbage. Garbage, as stated above, can be brought to the appropriate garbage areas.
46. One fire pit per site will be supplied. Seasonal Campers are permitted to bring and use their own fire pit. Please alert Management if you do not need us to provide a firepit.
47. Firewood is to be purchased at the campground for $15.00 a wheelbarrow. We do not allow outside wood as we want to keep the campground and surrounding area safe from infestation.

Unsupervised Children
48. Parents are responsible for their children. We ask that you supervise your children while at the campground.

Pets
49. Pet owners are responsible for their pets. We ask that you supervise your pets while at the campground.
50. Pets must be leashed when outside. Leashes cannot extend longer than 6 feet when near other RVs or people.
51. We ask that you pick up after your pets.
52. Seasonal Campers that do not contain or clean up after their pets will receive one (1) warning from Management. If the problem continues, Management will ask that the pet be removed.

Tents
53. No tents are to be used at the campground for long term camping.
54. If you wish to have a tent on your lot for a short time, you must get prior approval from Management.

Alcohol
55. Seasonal Campers and guests cannot walk around with open alcohol in the campground. Alcohol may only be opened on your lot or the lot you are visiting.

Patio Lights
56. Seasonal Campers are permitted to hang one strand of patio lights. If you wish to hang more than one strand of patio lights, you must get prior approval from Management.
57. Excessive bright lights or laser lights is not permitted.

Drones
58. Seasonal Campers and guests must receive permission from Management prior to the use of Drones.


Liability

  1. Under no circumstances is the Campground liable for injury to Seasonal Campers and guests, loss of property, damage to property, or accident.
